Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has declared himself as the next in line to become the President of Nigeria.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor who made the statement Friday in Ado-Ekiti, noted that his party is bent on taking the power from President Muhamadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2019.
Fayose said even former governors Segun Oni and Kayode Fayemi contest for 2018 governorship election they will fail. He said none of them performed to a satisfactory level that will afford them a return ticket for the governorship office in Ekiti State.
THe governor was at the inspecting the Osoko Political Institute Centre in Government House, Ado-Ekiti and meeting with political administrators when he made the statement.
“Because me Ayodele Fayose won the second term as the governor of Ekiti State does not mean every one can do. It is not possible for them to come back. People of Ekiti lavishly love me because I am committed to executing many developmental projects which has largely benefitted and advance the people of Ekiti state.
“People of Ekiti will still follow me in 2018, because if you go around the state my handiwork is in every nook and cranny.”

“My next mission is taking the power from Buhari’s hand. I am going for Presidency and I will be the next president. My own change agenda will not be what has brough nothing, but to represent the truth and the people that brough us in.
Governor Fayose declared next week Wednesday to celebrate three years in office after June 21, 2014 election that brought him into office. He said this will serve as a show of force that will further scare his opponents.
