Former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami says he has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for questioning. He disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page on Friday, noting that the agency has sent him a formal request.
Malami said he plans to honour the invitation. He told his followers that he intends to appear before investigators and offer any clarification they may need.
He said his decision is guided by the values he has held throughout his public career. According to him, honesty, integrity and accountability shaped his approach to public service, and he remains committed to those principles.
Malami added that he will keep Nigerians informed of any updates as the process continues.
