Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, praising his leadership and dedication to public service.
In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Saturday, Governor AbdulRazaq joined Kwarans—particularly those from the northern part of the state—in celebrating the Speaker’s milestone.
Describing Danladi-Salihu as “focused, deft, and mature” in his legislative duties, the Governor lauded his unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara State. “He has proven to be a great ally in our collective push for infrastructural and socioeconomic growth,” the Governor said.
AbdulRazaq highlighted the Speaker’s role in attracting key projects to his constituency and commended his active involvement in youth empowerment initiatives. “His efforts reflect a rare commitment to public service and the wellbeing of his people,” the statement noted.
The Governor prayed for continued health, long life, and prosperity for the Speaker, who has served as a prominent figure in the 10th Assembly.
Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu, an engineer by profession, represents Ilesha-Gwanara Constituency and has served as Speaker since 2019.
