Nigeria-based multi-media company, Silverbird group, is marking its 35th anniversary today with well wisher and many other dignitaries showing up at the event.
Present at the occasion are the Senate-President Bukola Saraki, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade and many others personalities who gathered at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos for the celebration.
The company which has its headquarters in Lagos, founded by a media thinker, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, has holdings in Television, Radio, Real Estate, and Cinemas.
Senator Ben Bruce is re-known for his controversial comments on social media, bordering on care for the masses and good governance, but not without having folks who always wanted to engage him in battle of words.
He is a perceived conservative politician, reserved in spending. Was it not the same Ben Bruce who wanted to donate his wardrobe allowance to assist the unpaid workers in Osun State few months ago? He has been playing opposition since his party, Peoples Democratic Party lost in the general 2015 election. But many would like Ben Bruce to start talking at the plenary rather than spend much time on Twitter. Some social media users will fondly call him ‘twitter senator’.
