Another set of returnees have arrived country from Libya as they were received by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). They are 8 pregnant women and 149 others.

The adult returnees include 90 male and 54 females, who have all returned home voluntarily, of which one is sick. While the infants are 10.

Arriving Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 9:45pm on Wednesday in flight BURAQ Airlines Boeing 737-800 with Registration number 5A-DMG.

Receiving the returnees, the Director-General of NEMA urged them to turn a new leaf with pathetic situations that have experienced outside the shores of the country in their search for greener pasture, noting that what they want outside is available in Nigeria.

The Director General who was represented by the Southwest Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Alhaji Suleiman Yakubu also said the Federal Government is doing everything possible to bring back all Nigerians that are willing to return and special incentives are being put in place for all to restart their lives.

He asked them to see their sojourn as a way of challenge to make Nigeria greater by looking at the present challenges on positive ways.

“You have gone out to see things yourself that Nigeria is a great country, your contributions can make it a greater country you crave for and I wants you all to turn things round for the development of this nation.

He further urged everyone to tap into resource the country is blessed with without fear of molestation or inhuman treatment.
