AS a way of getting feedback and improving on the service, the N-Power has requested its Volunteers to state challenges faced in the course of discharging their duties, and this was followed by series of replies.

The N-Power scheme is a Federal Government initiative to elevate youths unemployment by empowering them.

Larger percentage of the Batch A volunteers are deployed to N-Teach (schools). Other sections include N-Agro and N-Health.

The question reads: “Dear Existing Beneficiaries, What are some of the challenges you face asides the issue of payment, device and redeployment?”

Many volunteers complained about over-load work laid on them at the Place of Primary Assignment.


The volunteers earn N30,000 stipends in exchange for the hours of learning rendered.

Some has indicated interest for the programme to be made permanent instead of 2 years.

Recall that FELLOW PRESS reported that the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo had extended the registration of Batch B till July 27 in order to allow youths who have not registered to do so.
