The body of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, has arrived at the Nigerian Airforce wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The remains reached the airport at 9 a.m., where members of the Guards Brigade were present to pay their last respects.
The solemn arrival marks the beginning of final tributes to honor Lagbaja’s distinguished service to the nation, with various military and government officials expected to participate in his farewell ceremonies.
