Former governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada, has being questioned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission after N500million was traced to him, part of the N23billion disbursed by the Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
According to report from Punch, Mr. Wada who arrived the Abuja office of the anti-graft agency around 12pm Monday, is still in their custody till 9pm.
Mrs. Alison-Madueke, the former Petroleum Resources Minister, is currently been tried in the United Kingdom for money laundering and related offences. She had issue the said amount to Wada via Senator Nenadi Usman, the Director of Finance, President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation.
