Senator representing Kogi West constituency, Dino Melaye, has blamed his recall by his electorate on the state governor, Yahaya Bello, and that the move will end up as failure, FELLOW PRESS gathers.
Mr. Melaye said this in Ughelli North Local government area of Delta state, during the empowerment programme of Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi at the local government.
FELLOW PRESS reported that Melaye dragged Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to court, hiring human right lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, to fight the case for him.
Confident Melaye said he would not only get justice but there would not be any recall programme.
Talking about his antangonist, governor Bello, Melaye said, “He is fighting Almighty God and not me. I am for truth and justice but our society always see silence as a crime.
“He is fighting me because I asked him to do the right thing to pay the workers in the state, as well as pensioners; and to open higher institutions who have been on strike for almost half a year; to call of doctors strike and provide dividends of democracy to Kogites.”
